The Resolutions Were Hung by the Computer With Care

I did my unofficial resolution to frame my resolutions. I scanned it so you can see it close, but the color turned out wonky so I also took a picture of it after it was on the wall. I hung it tucked sort of beside/behind my computer, so the average visitor to the house wouldn’t see it but I’D see it all the time.

If you do this yourself, I recommend taking a little more time with the DESIGN of the project. I took the fake photo that came with the frame and wrote on the back of it, and I tried to compensate for the messiness and lack of margins by doodling. But I knew I wouldn’t do it at all if I tried to do it The Best Way, so…fast and sloppy works too.

(See? Huge color wonkiness.)

I think it will work just fine – done is better than perfect, right?

I do want to see the picture collage you have next to it with what I assume is the children holding the letters spelling LOVE. They all (all 2.5 of them I can see) look like the pics were taken as babies – did that require a LOT of planning ahead or what?

Sorry for commenting again, I just actually read the resolutions and I snorted at “tailgate my digital photos at a closer distance.” I might co-opt that one on my own list!

Christy- I have a picture of the whole thing here. Only the twins are babies in it; the other kids were 7 and 4-almost-5.

Jen(Melty)- It means keep up with them. In my resolutions, I made an analogy about how I get mad at tailgaters because if they’re going to have to go the same speed anyway, why not give me a little more ROOM? And with my digital photos, I’m always steadily about 3 months behind, so if I’m going to go at a steady pace anyway, why not go CLOSER to the current photos?

Good for you, and I know what you mean about not doing it at all if it can’t be the BEST way – that trips me up so much.

I like #4 and am putting that on my list too.

I’ll be sure to let you know if I come across any of your coveted conditioner!

I bought a friend a gift today while thinking of you. “Should I? Maybe I shouldn’t.” Then, I remembered your resolution and thought I would go for it. I am so glad I did. What’s $8 to make a friend laugh?
