Hats, Cups

Yeah. Just hanging out. Chilling on the windowsill. Diaper hat and my brother’s Leapster 2. You know. Your typical Sunday.

Do you remember the measuring spoons from this shopping post? I love them so. I’ve been looking and Looking and LOOKING for the matching measuring cups, and finally found them at HomeGoods (not a grocery store). So obv I cleared them out.

One set for me, one for my sister-in-law, and the rest for future Swistle Care Packages

I don’t think I can choose just one set to keep. Which set is your favorite? (Rob points out that if I want to, I can now make five single-color sets.)

They also had more measuring spoons, so I bought those too.

Awesome find! They will make great Swistle care package items!

My favorite is the one with the orange measuring cup on top and the red on the bottom. Don’t really know why, I just like it best.

    I wouldn’t make 5 single-color sets tho – they would be too matchy-matchy.

I like them all. I would share them with my children.

My girls used to run around with swim diapers on their heads. We have many pictures to show future boyfriends.

I can’t decide, I like them all! Green is my favorite color, so maybe I’d make a set of those, but then I’d probably regret it b/c the colors are so pretty it’d be boring in comparison.

I’d take them apart, and then put the colours in order from my favourite to least favourite, and then keep the sizes in that order…

OR… otherwise, I like the one that starts with red as the big measure and ends with orange as the little measure. It’s a warm looking set.

I would put a set together in proper rainbow order. Big red, next orange, followed by yellow, then green, ending with small blue. Because I’m a little obsessive about order. :D

    So pretty…

Really, I like them all. My favorites are the red on the bottom and the green on the bottom, though. I hope I get to win one someday!

I like the one with the blue on the biggest cup. They’re so pretty!!!

I miss HomeGoods SO much. There was one so close to our old house in the southern part of the state, and of course there’s none here within 60 miles. ARGH. Sigh. Maybe it’s just as well, right.

    Or not.

I like the one with the red on top. The only way I was able to figure this out was to decide which I liked least and work up from there. I agree that making a bunch of singular colors would be boring. Kitchen ware is so purty, I love it.

Which do you use most often? The 1 C? If so, choose the set with the turquoise 1 C. I heart that color and it would make me happy to see it every day, like when I scoop oatmeal for breakfast or something.

Also – I’d keep one extra set stored away for yourself. What if one gets melted in the dishwasher? You wouldn’t want to be without!

I like the one with the yellow on top. But probably just because I like yellow, and it’s on top in the photo so I can see it best. But I am miffed that they skipped purple. Couldn’t they have added a sixth cup?

I like the one with the green on top, yellow on the bottom. It just seems quirky to me, in a good way. I wish we had a Home Goods; I’ve been on the hunt for some new measuring cups…

Yellow on top and green on the bottom. But I’d be tempted to do some mixing and matching – an all red and yellow set, maybe, and an all blue and green one, plus an all orange.

Love those cups!!! I have a very similar set of cups and spoons from Williams Sonoma. Probably cost a kajillion dollars more than they did at Home Goods, but eh, they were a wedding gift!

I neeeeed these measuring cups. They are adorable! I wouldn’t make them into solid color sets; I think it would kill the fun. I prefer the one with the yellow on top – not sure why. Just caught my eye.

I just bought those same measuring cups at home goods, they were so nicely priced and the colors called out “Buy me” Love them! I got the measuring spoons too. Thanks for your great blog!

Great hat! Evie hasn’t done that yet, but she’s only a year old… and she hates hats. I’ve made her a few, but I had to put strings on them to keep her from pulling them off. The first was a sunbonnet that I meant to keep for trips to the park and playtime in the kiddie pool, but my sister-in-law fell in love and took it home with them. Second was another sunbonnet to match a dress and pinafore that I made for the baby shower, and the other two were reversible hats to match some reversible criss-cross sundresses. I’ll have to make another for the park, ’cause Evie doesn’t have enough hair to protect her little head yet.

And I love the one with the red on top.
