Oh if the OP is reading (or if anyone knows) what’s the name of this baby name app? I’m four weeks to my due date, and while we have some contenders, there isn’t one that’s jumping out.
OP here. It’s called, stupidly (or maybe brilliantly?) the Baby Name App. Google that and you should be able to find it. I have to say I didn’t LOVE the app — I’m curious as to where they pull their names from, because I swear I got like twenty permutations of Jaden/Jayden/Jaydan– like, more Jaydens than can POSSIBLY exist in the real world. Also when we used it, it was slightly buggy on my husband’s phone. But it was still better than the alternative, which was mostly him rejecting every name I put out. Good luck!!!
There was a podcast about this app! I’m sad that I’m done having babies and thus have no excuse to make my husband do it with me! Ha. I don’t remember which podcast talked about it…maybe Note To Self? More likely The Longest Shortest Time…
YES they do have a lot of duds, but I also matched with my husband on names I didn’t think he liked. Of course, I prefer a slightly different name (Valentine v Valentina) because of her last name ending with an “ee da” sound. But good to know. I’m going to get on his phone later tonight and see what his other “likes” were to see if maybe there’s something there.
